Nick Steenson joined JB&A Aviation in 2024.  His 25 years of aviation experience began as a Senior in High School, earning his private pilot license and instrument rating before attending college.

He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in Aircraft Systems Management in 2004.  While earning his degree he achieved his Commercial, Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings.

In his over 19 years of professional flying, Nick has been type-rated in multiple aircraft.  He has vast experience in FAA Part 121, 135 and 91 Corporate operations.

Before joining the JB&A team, Nick was the Director of Aviation for a large Logistics and Supply Chain Company.  For more than 12 years, he managed the department staff and corporate fleet of Lear 35, 60 and Citation Latitude aircraft.

Nick has always enjoyed aviation and the business aviation industry.  During his time in management, he gained extensive knowledge in strategic planning, market research and aircraft transactions.

In Nick’s spare time you can find him on the soccer field sidelines with his wife, Lacey watching their daughter, Meredith, or on the golf course with friends.
